NAMI Iowa will hold its annual Beautiful Minds reception and dinners to raise awareness of mental illness. The reception is from 5:30-7 p.m. at Des Moines University's Olsen Center, while dinner parties will be held after that throughout the Des Moines area.

About the event
Proceeds from Beautiful Minds will be used to train volunteer teachers, facilitators, and presenters for NAMI programs statewide that help those with serious mental illness and their families live in recovery and wellness.
